Application Flexibility

The Inetec plants adopt technology processes that turn waste into biomass fuel and methane gas by utilising both abrassive drying and anaerobic digestion and has the capability to handle various waste streams including:

      • Food Waste
      • Packaging Waste (non-recyclable)
      • Municipal Solid Waste

The resulting biomass fuel can be utilised to generate various renewable energy sources including:

      • Electrical Energy - 1MWe - circa 36MWe
      • Steam
      • Heat
      • Absorption Chilling

The Present

Whether it is an on-site or off-site application that is required the process for generating the biomass fuel remains the same.  You can process any form of food manufacturing waste through the process without the requirement for separation or sorting of materials (except that which would normally be recycled). This means that anything from organic waste such as vegetables and food ingredients through to paper, card and plastics can be processed in the same batch.

Alternatively if for example your feedstock was segregated municipal solid waste the Inetec process can treat it in the same way as it would for industrial scale food producers.  This is s fully enclosed treatment which does not present the same danger of fire risk as many drying processes and emits very little odour, the process by products are of course the biomass fuel, low grade effluent (discharged to sewer) and residual ash from the combustion process.

Our off-site plant solutions utilise a multi-channel front end processing solution which enables us to process material in the most suitable technology solution (abrassive drying or anaerobic digestion)
