Because of the unique method that the Inetec technology uses to process waste into biomass fuel, it has the capability to handle different waste streams without the possibility of process failure.
Food Manufacturing Waste – The Present
This is the current application for the process. Whether it is an on-site or off-site application the process remains the same. It is unique in that you can process any form of food manufacturing waste through the process without the requirement for separation or sorting. This means that anything from organic waste such as vegetables and food ingredients through to paper, card and plastics can be processed in the same batch.
Community Waste Processing – The Future
Although this is not something which we currently offer it is certainly a perfectly viable option for potential future development. Unlike today where 90% of household waste which is collected from peoples houses and taken to landfill, all of this waste could be transported to large scale merchant plants where it would be reprocessed to produce electricity which could in turn be routed back to the town where it came from. Although it is unlikely that there would be enough waste to power a complete town it would be perfectly feasible for the plant to supply half the electricity required to run the town.
