The future of bio-fuels and renewable energy

Increasing pressure on countries the world over is leading them to look for alternative sources of power. Leading the way is the EU where a whole array of biofuels and renewable energy sources are now in full scale production. Although the current levels of production are not sufficient to replace the usage of fossil fuels the future potential of alternative energy’s shows that they will replace fossil fuel usage.

With the worlds known supply of oil due to expire by around 2100 the implementation of bio fuels and renewable energy sources as the main energy source is a race that we cannot afford to lose.

Although it is unlikely that a single source of alternative energy will ever be sufficient to replace fossil fuel usage a combined usage of all the different sources will lead to world powered solely by renewable, green sources.

Because the creation of these fuels is a relatively new development there are still some objections to a number of them. But it must be recognised that if we are to continue using energy at the current rate new sources must be found. The future of how we live tomorrow will be defined by the acceptance of these fuels today. Our future generations are far more likely to accept bio fuels and alternative energy sources because they will be educated that these are the future of power creation throughout the world.

The increase of their use now will help to prolong the life of fossil fuel supplies and with world energy requirements projected to increase some 100% by 2100 using a combination of energy sources is the future of energy production.
