Inetec Benefits - Why Choose Inetec?

The process used by Inetec to turn waste to energy is the same, whether you opt for an on-site or off-site solution.

The waste is loaded into the Inetec Thermec machine where it is processed over a period of 16 hours (including loading and unloading). During this time the waste is processed to extract the moisture contained within it - "abrasive drying". Initially this will be the surface water content but once this has all been vapourised cellular level moisture is also exposed and vapourised. This moisture is then passed through a series of condensers which converts it back into liquid. The resulting effluent can then be drained directly to a foul sewer without requiring further treatment. Because we do not use a biological or chemical process in order to produce the biomass fuel, the daily waste stream can vary as much as you need it to, giving you complete flexibility.

The resulting biomass fuel is stable and high in calorific value (typically 20 - 24MJkg) which will result in a high conversion of energy.

Inetec have the ability to process a wide range of waste materials including:

    • food and packaging waste
    • Municipal Solid Waste
    • Organic Waste Fractions
