Where the Waste should go

Here is what should happen with the things which get thrown away

Paper – this should always be sent to be recycled.
Classroom items – Plastics can be recycled and reformed into other items. These items would include pens and pencils.
Cans – it is quite common for children to take cans of drink to school. All aluminium cans can be recycled and used again.
Food – most schools offer a school dinner service and any left over food can also be sent away to be made use of. Packed lunch left over’s could also be sent away to be processed and food waste can actually be used to generate green electricity.
